Canvas - How to Sign into Medial and Verify Access in Canvas

This guide will walk you through signing into Medial and ensuring your account is synced for accessing media content in Canvas.

Step 1: Access Medial

1. Open a web browser and go to: https://medialibrary.pugetsound.edu/
2. On the right-hand side, locate the Sign On icon.
3. Click on Single Sign-On (SSO) to proceed.

Step 2: Sign in with Puget Sound Credentials

1. You will be redirected to the Puget Sound login page.
2. Enter your Puget Sound username and password.
3. Click Sign In to authenticate.

Step 3: Verify Access in Canvas

1. Once signed into Medial, go to Canvas.
2. Navigate to a course page where you need to access media content.
3. Click the Medial button within the Canvas editor.
4. Use the search function to look for a specific video (e.g., a course-related film).
5. If your account is synced correctly, the video should appear in the search results.

• If you don’t see the expected media in Canvas, try signing out and back into Medial.
