Submitting a Ticket [1]

To create a service request, navigate to the Services section and then select a service category. Choose the appropriate service for your request. For detailed instructions, refer to our Submitting a Ticket knowledge base article.

Knowledge Base [2]

The Knowledge Base is a centralized repository where information is stored, organized, and shared. It's a place where you can find self-help or “do it yourself” instructions without needing to submit a service request (e.g. how to reset your password). The Knowledge Base is organized into categories, each containing articles with self-help information, documents, processes, and procedures.

Checking Request Status [3]

From the portal, you can check existing open and past ticket requests by clicking Check Request Status. On this page, you can see all of your ticket requests. By default, only new and open tickets are shown. Use the search fields at the top to view requests by status class, department, service, and more.

To view details about a request, click the Title. This will bring you to a new page to see the ticket status [1], make additional comments[2], see if there are any updates in the feed, or withdraw the request.

Report an Outage [4]

To quickly report a system or campus outage, use the orange Report an Outage button on the home page. This will take you directly to a form with questions designed to streamline the process and help us address the issue more efficiently.

Quick Answers [5]

These are quick links to knowledge-base articles for our most common issues across campus.

Service Announcements [6]

Recent announcements from our Technology Services Blog which include alerts about planned maintenance, known outages, and other notifications from Technology Services.

Search [7]

Begin typing in the “Search the client portal” field located at the top of the page and you can search for services offered and knowledge base articles. Additionally, you can click on the dropdown next to the Search field to do a more granular search of only Service Catalog items or only Knowledge Base items.
