Scheduling a Zoom meeting in Canvas using Zoom LTI Pro 1.3

Body

To schedule a Zoom meeting in Canvas using the Zoom Pro LTI 1.3 integration, follow these steps:

Initial Setup (One-Time Configuration)

  1. Link Your Puget Sound Zoom Account to Canvas:

  • You may need to link your Canvas account with your Zoom account. This usually involves logging in to Zoom through the Canvas interface and authorizing the integration.
  • Be sure to access Canvas via canvas.pugetsound.edu. The integration will not work if you are accessing Canvas via the outdated pugetsound.instructure.com.

Scheduling a Zoom Meeting

  1. Navigate to Your Course:

    • Log in to Canvas and go to the course where you want to schedule the Zoom meeting.
  2. Access the Zoom Tool:

    • In the course navigation menu, click on the “Zoom LTI Pro” 1.3  link. This should take you to the Zoom LTI Pro 1.3 interface within Canvas. If the link isn't enabled go to Settings > Navigation > then enable Zoom LTI Pro 1.3. Be sure to click Save.
