Google Vids is an easy-to-use video creation tool within Google Workspace. Whether you’re putting together a presentation, a tutorial, or a project update, Google Vids provides everything you need to record, edit, and share your videos seamlessly.

- Open your browser and go to: vids.new
- You can also access Vids through your Google Drive

Creating a Video in Google Vids
1. Start with a Template
Templates provide a structured starting point with pre-set scenes and transitions:
- Open Google Vids and go to the Templates tab.
- Browse the template gallery and choose one that fits your needs.
- Add all scenes or select individual ones.
- Customize the text, images, and video clips.

2. Record Your Own Video
You can record video or audio directly within Google Vids:
- Click Record and choose to capture your screen, your camera, or both.
- Record for up to 10 minutes at a time.
- Preview your recording and re-record if needed.
- Insert the recording into your video and edit as necessary.

3. Upload Existing Videos and Media
If you already have footage or images, you can upload them into your project:
- Click Upload and select files from your computer.
- Drag and drop the files onto your timeline.
- Trim, adjust, and rearrange clips as needed.

4. Build a Video from Scratch
For full creative control, start with a blank timeline:
- Open Google Vids and close the setup wizard.
- Click the Add Media button to upload videos, images, or audio.
- Use the timeline to arrange and edit clips.
